Mrs Anju Handa is an educationalist, philanthropist, social reformer and a women of multiple talents. She rose to excellence through her grit and determination rising over the challenges of life, proving right what is said of life, that it gives a test first and lesson afterwards.
Her success story truly amplifies what Swami Vivekananda said that education is the manifestation of perfection already existing in person. All knowledge and wisdom is intuitive- the external world just a stimuli to set you to study your own mind.
Presently, heading a Preschool consultancy under the name and style of Greens- she nurtured it to an event management outfit offering complete solutions from opening of preschool to successful running it. It was just a humble beginning to invest creatively her time after her children grew up and the way she exercised her mental creativity is itself a very gripping motivational story.
She had completed her post graduate from university of Punjab, before her family shifted to Bangalore for their business. She took to teaching to keep nourishing her creativity. However, the destiny brought her to capital- the land wherein she was to find the blossoming of her innocent creativity and dreams. She was married to business family in the city and the first few years were of typical house wife of raising children and family. However, to keep her creativity spark, she started giving Hobby classes tutoring soft toys, cooking classes to young girls of her neighborhood. Her children were her world as a young mother and it was just a humble way to quell her creativity.
The whisperings from inside were rambling for expressions of her creative talent, when destiny smiled and she got a position in prestigious chain of preschool in marketing their organization. She took the opportunity, writing her success in the profile, promoting herself to the position of marketing head of the organization, heading a team of ten professionals and bagging the best marketing manager award for skills and visions.
However, the professional success lead to be more demanding, in terms of time and balancing it with her family life was getting a difficult equilibrium. Also, the restlessness was also erupting in her as the creative expression were not finding her fulfilment. She left the job after three years of wonderful experience and learning, transcending it all to create a first ever preschool event management outfit under the banner of Greens- providing promotional and marketing consultancies to preschools. The outfit occupies a coveted place in the event management field of preschools as a focused initiative. Further augmenting her creative talent, she floated of an innovative and collaborative orientation program ‘MIHU’ –May I help you, an integrative conceptualization of techniques to create cohesion and bond among teachers, children and parents.
In between her dream realizations of her creative pursuits, she had been associated with social organizations for philanthropic support. Adopted an old age home in Rewari under an initiative ‘Touching lives’, wherein she shares the joys and smiles of inmates creating some sunshine to their impoverished lives. Also providing fulcrum of Support to NGO, “Earth Savior” run by Mr. Ravi Kalra. The compassion in her were expressed through social work, wherein she always wished to assist and help the down-trodden and helpless in society.
She had always believed that Women had a bigger role in creating an egalitarian society, full of love, compassion and morality. Perhaps, the status of society today is because women have not found their equitable representation. The uneasiness in her led to creation of “SHEconnects”- a collaborative all women platform to promote women empowerment. She had always believed that women emancipation, is perhaps the only way to a perfect social system, presently plagued with rape, murder, violence, hate and selfishness. The idea was to bring women under one umbrella, creating a networking sharing their ideas and knowledge, connecting them globally through seminars and workshops.
The motto, “Together we can” found its expression and SHEconnect was launched in 2017, under the patronage of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who has always been great strength and guiding force. The two books on women entrepreneurs, titled Inspiring Entrepreneurs- Journey from Can I to I can, edited and scripted by Mrs Handa were released on the occasion of global literary festival at Marwah Studios and are presently available on every national and international platforms. The third edition of the book is all set to release this year.
Mrs. Anju Handa herself has moved from “Can to I can” with her modesty and visions. Every successful person must have behind them tremendous integrity, tremendous sincerity and that is the cause of signal success in life. She nurtured her visions and dreams and blossomed it to fulfillment through her focused prerogative. She had been felicitated and awarded for her achievements by Government of India and social organizations of repute.
